This month, I am showcasing female writers of memoirs. First up is Tara Westover.
I am in awe of her story! She grew up in Idaho, raised in a survivalist Mormon household. Though she faced many difficulties in her younger years, she prevailed; she even went on to receive her doctorate and became a New York Times best-selling author with her memoir, Educated.
My favorite quotation from Tara is this, “You can love someone and still choose to say goodbye to them... You can miss a person every day, and still be glad that they are no longer in your life.”
